Here’s a quick question for you. Would you prefer to be running around trying to deliver important documents and packages or sitting back and letting courier services do it for you?
If the answer seems obvious then I wish someone had told me a few years back. Several times I have wasted hours from my life trying to get things delivered on time and only later realising that I could have used courier services instead.
Sometimes we seem to have this idea that these courier services are hugely expensive or only for big international firms to use. This isn’t the case at all and if you need to send any sort of item at all then you can get it done quickly and simply while not spending too much money on it.
Shortcuts in Glasgow
In particular, I can remember once getting caught in rush hour traffic in Glasgow when I was trying to hand in some paperwork before the banks closed. The only good thing to come out of the experience was that I finally got to use the phrase I had been waiting years to say to a taxi driver.
As the Glaswegian taxi driver told me that I had no chance of getting to my destination on time I calmly told him that if he got me there before closing time there an extra fiver in it for him. He miraculously found a back road and got me there in the nick of time.
